Anna Ishchenko

Anna Ishchenko is an illustrator from Zaporizhzhya, Ukraine, who’s connected with fine art and drawings throughout her life. She went to the School of Art in her native city, after which she completed many different courses and training to continue her studies in the field of art.

Anna is a bright naturalist painter and the artist behind the children’s book “Fly to Space”. Fly to Space came to her like a true love affair. She had a lot of ideas to create characters for this story, in the end Anna chose the fox to represent the boy and Skunk to represent the girl because of the similarity in the character’s personality.

Similar to the character of the story: active, love of exploration, kindness, and willingness to help others are the outstanding characteristics of the character. Especially, exploring the universe and space is a topic that children love nowadays.
